Easy walks
Easy walks
Along the rivers: Corvara, Colfosco, La Ila, San Cassiano and Badia are connected by an easy path along the river, which is ideal for families and can also be walked with pram. Duration: about one hour from village to village
Walks at the high plateau: By the cable car Col Alto, Piz La Ila, Piu Sorega and the Pralongià chair lift, you reach the high plateau providing a great view. This is where numerous walking paths start, leading to different mountain huts.
San Cassiano - Malga Valparola: From the Hotel Armentarola, walk the path in the direction of Pre de Costa, proceed across the meadows to the border of the forest. Then you proceed on the path n° 18 to the Valparola Alpine pasture, where you can make a stop and an inn. Duration: about 1 hour.
San Cassiano - Dlira - Rü: Walk from the centre towards the bus stop and proceed towards Armentarola along the riverside. After passing by the sports field, take the path n° 15A towards Dlira and you reach the hamlet of Rü. From this place you walk back down to the village centre along the little road. Duration: about 3 hours.

Theme trails
The artists’ trail “Tru di Artisć”: This walk can be considered a fascinating arts gallery in the great outdoors with masterpieces of local artists. It leads along the river for about 3.5 km and is located between the villages of Altin at La Ila and the Ladin Museum “Ursus Ladinicus” in the centre of San Cassiano. Duration: about 1 hour.
The larch trail “Tru di Lersc”: This walk starts between the farms of Rüdeferia and Rü above San Cassiano. The nature adventure trail offers interactive stations with information, pictures and games. The main attraction is the mill of the Rüdeferia farm. Duration: about 1 hour.
The contemplative trail “Klaus Dorothea von der Flüe”: The path starts in the village of Sciarè and extends along the forest up to the beautiful Sass Dlacia Chapel. Along the path there are different thought-provoking sculptures and artistic masterpieces. Duration: about 30 minutes.

This area is located at the high plateau of Corvara, La Ila and San Cassiano and comprises 4 fun parks. Every single park enthuses its visitors by activities and stations that are offered: giant balloons for jumping, acrobatic exercises, pumptrack courses, water games and much more. You can reach it by walking, by biking or via funicular (Piz La Ila, Stern - Piz Sorega, San Cassiano - Col Alto Boè, Corvara and Pralongià, Passo Campolongo).

This park has different informative and exciting stations to offer, where you can for example try golf panning, visit a dragon cave, see a fight between marmots and splash in the water. We also invite you to visit the new Kneipp facility or the 400 m long theme path “Retracing wild animals” (Auf den Spuren der Wildtiere). The park is located at the mountain station of the chair lift La Crusc first section at about 1,850 m a.s.l.

This is where you can experience shooting with bow and arrow, similar to those of our ancestors, having no display device. Bow and arrow are ancient weapons that have accompanied people especially in those times in which they were still hunters and gatherers. When you instinctively try shooting with bow and arrow, there is nothing left to learn, simply get back to the basics that are already grounded in yourselves.

Parks for families and little lakes
Playgrounds can be found in the sports area of San Cassiano, at the biotope lake of Corvara, in the pine forest and the animal park of Colfosco.
Picnic areas with barbecue can be found at the Sass Dlacia in the cross-country ski centre of San Cassiano, in the sports area of La Ila or the sports area of Badia.
Visiting Animal parks is a great adventure especially for kids. At Colfosco, there is a park for small animals, at Badia there is the deer compound Paraciora and the mini zoo Santa Croce at the Lee mountain hut. Animals can also be found at the mountain huts of Saraghes and Scotoni at San Cassiano.
Small lakes and mountain lakes that are perfect for dabbling can be found all over, such as at Colfosco and La Ila, there is also the Lech da Sompunt, the Lech dal Lè, the Lech Dlà Lunch and the Lech da Rit.
High rope course adventures
High rope course adventures
There are 5 different courses with artificial obstacles and challenges with ropes, beams or wire ropes that are fixed between treetops in different altitudes. Thanks to climbing harnesses and climbing equipment you can enjoy this adventure safely. The ability to concentrate, agility and balance are trained and of course you also need some courage.
